Every year, NALFA conducts a survey of prevailing market rates in civil litigation in the U.S. This is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive survey or study of billing rates in litigation. NALFA will provide all data currently available in its possession related to the survey. Based on our understanding and established practice, the survey was conducted using the same protocols that have been followed since it was first offered in 2020.

Prior versions of this survey have been admitted in courts as evidence concerning attorney fee determinations.
